Releasing music and other content through his own production company Good Dad Media; Eric Bush Jr. came up with the moniker Mister Good Dad after conquering a three year court battle for primary custody of his twin boys. This combined with his exhaustion of the narrative that most men are deadbeat dads - spurred the creativity that brought about his name as well as an adjustment in the music he was already making. Mister Good Dad's music shifted from conscious lyricism to gritty emotion filled songs capturing moments of anger, love, hopelessness or despair - paired with sinister baritones.
